The Facility

Three levels of care. One community.

  • A — Independent Living

    Craftsman-style duplex and quadraplex homes (~2,300 sq ft) on campus

  • B — Assisted Living

    Studio and two-bedroom suites (326–1,022 sq ft) with daily support

  • C — Memory Care

    Specialized, compassionate care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia

The Structure

Self-supporting. Transparent. Separate.

The Haven will be financed through bond issuance — not through the tithes and offerings of Eastside Church. A separate 501(c)(3) corporation will own and operate the facility, keeping it financially distinct from the church.

Any initial startup funds provided by Eastside Church will be fully repaid once bond financing is secured.

Why Is Eastside Building This?

The Community Need

Within five miles of our campus, there is a projected shortage of 1,473 senior living units. Our neighbors — many of them our own church family — will have nowhere to go that truly reflects their values and faith.

The Spiritual Calling

This vision grew out of something simple: deep love for Eastside Church and eager anticipation of all that God could accomplish through the local church. After much prayer, research, and discussion, we believe God is calling us to this.

A Legacy of Faith

Eastside Church has been a church that plans with faith since 1961. The Haven is the next chapter of a multigenerational story, building for those who come after us.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
